About the Role
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, backend systems, and dynamic websites. Your primary focus will be writing clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code, integrating with databases, and collaborating with front-end developers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).

Write clean, secure, and efficient code following industry best practices.

Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Build and consume RESTful APIs.

Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software.

Maintain existing codebases, refactor legacy code, and perform version control using Git.

Ensure application security and data protection.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in PHP (version 7.x / 8.x).

Experience with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).

Solid understanding of SQL and database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic front-end integration.

Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.

Experience with version control systems (Git).

Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.

Familiarity with server environments (Apache/Nginx, Linux command line basics).

Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).

Knowledge of Docker or other containerization tools.

Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).

Experience with caching systems (Redis, Memcached).
